Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WordMasters, available at https://wordmasters.logical.am (the “Service”), collects, uses, and protects your information. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

• Your username, email address, and (when provided) display name and avatar URL.
• The provider ID returned by Facebook / Google / LinkedIn or other supported sign-in providers when you authenticate (used only to recognise returning users).
• Game-related data: rooms you create or join, words you submit, match results, scores, XP, level, and match history.
• Standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, and log data collected automatically when you use the Service, primarily for error diagnosis and security.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate core gameplay features, including real-time multiplayer rooms, scoring, and matchmaking.
• Maintain your profile, XP, level, and leaderboard standing.
• Authenticate you, including via third-party sign-in providers.
• Diagnose errors, maintain security, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in using a third-party provider (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc.), that provider will share certain account details with us (such as your name, email address, and profile photo) so we can create and authenticate your account. Your use of that provider is also governed by the provider's own privacy policy.

Global Leaderboard

WordMasters includes a global leaderboard that ranks players by XP. By creating an account and playing a match, your username, level, XP, rating, and match statistics (games played, wins, losses, win streak) are uploaded to our server and may be displayed publicly on the leaderboard to other users of the Service. If you would prefer your results not appear on the public leaderboard, you can play in Solo (Practice) mode, which does not affect your XP, rating, or leaderboard standing.

Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see our Data Deletion Instructions for how to do this.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details below or via our Data Deletion Instructions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
